Access Culture advocates a concept that goes far beyond accessibility ramps and adapted bathrooms. A concept that views access as a cross-sectional field to the entire activity of the museum. We believe that there is an increasing need to share with museum professionals and museum authorirites this broad concept of accessibility. We hope to raise awareness, share our knowledge, learn from others and reach the day when visitors with special needs will be autonomous in our museums, like all others, and they will also be part of the team.

Thus, this course considers the following:
– The building
– Inclusive design
– Tactile materials and replicas
– Audiodescription
– Services for deaf people
– Communications: exhibition design, communications design, texts
– Accessible websites and digital documents
